Week 15 Writing Prompt

April in Indiana sometimes feels like living inside a thundercloud. We have lots of rain, so there are often flood warnings. Usually when we think of flooding, something that looks like this comes to mind:

but this week, we're going to twist it around again. The challenge for the week is to write a story in which your character(s) have to deal with a flood, but it wasn't water. What is it, and what happened?

Comments, questions, and updates on how you're doing are welcome!
